Virtual Assistant Diploma Course
This blog is all about my studies, especially the Virtual Assistant Diploma Course. The Highs & lows & all that is in between.

Ideas!!!
You know when you start something you think “This is a great idea!!!!!”, then, you get into it and start to doubt why you actually decided to do this?
Well, I have too, many times!!
Learning
I signed up to do my Level 2 AAT Bookkeeping & Accounting with Pitman Training who I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new career path or wanted to progress in their current career etc, their support was amazing.
Getting Started
Now I had finished my AAT course I set up my own business Mindful Money Management (I know, don’t laugh), now all I needed was clients. I advertised myself of Facebook in all the business groups & “BOOM” I had 3 clients under my belt, then all of a sudden I had 8 clients & another 2 in the pipeline. Go Me!
But then Covid hit. People couldn’t afford to pay for someone to do their books so my client list went down to 3.
Thanks Covid! You’re already s**t, but you have made life even more s**t!
Change of Career Path
After developing huge anxieties around the Accounting side, I partnered with an ACCA Accountant, Binary Accounting (binarytax@gmail.com). I do the bookkeeping, he does the all the bits that were keeping me awake at night. He get clients. My anxieties, gone! Win win!
But with clients still scares, I have to admit, as happy as I was doing Bookkeeping, I wanted to help people in their business without having the pressure of the tax man.
So, after having a long chat with my very close friend Rachel (with a few glasses of fizz) we decided becoming a Virtual Assistant (VA) was the job for me.
More Learning
After doing some market research, I had a good idea of what services I was going to offer, but I have no idea how.

Back to the study books for me!
Having, again, done some research, none of the courses I could find actually covered all the the areas I wanted to cover. Therefore, I went back to Pitman Training. After chatting with the Director, without a doubt, their course was 100% what I was looking for.
So just after Christmas 2020, I signed up.
Virtual Assistant Diploma Course
I have thoroughly enjoyed this course. Having learnt so much about Marketing, events management, etc I was buzzing. That was, until I started WordPress. WordPress brought back huge anxieties as I just couldn’t understand parts of it. However, I have now finished it & have sat the exam. Now it is a waiting game for my results.
Next part of the course is learning about social media. This is what I have really been looking forward too!
